Komyo ReikiDo is a Japanese Reiki system, founded by Hyakuten Inamoto, a Buddhist Monk & renown International Reiki teacher. Komyo ReikiDo is a keep-it-simple Reiki system & practice, based on the Japanese aesthetic of Less is More. The purpose of Komyo ReikiDo is to strive for the improvement of mind & body through Reiki Ryoho practice, to cultivate a healthy & peaceful life as well as uplift our spirituality & being. Hyakuten Inamoto, a native of Kyoto, was inspired to share & teach Reiki with the world, so he created Komyo Reiki Kai in 1998. In 2016, he changed the name of his Reiki system to Komyo ReikiDo, to reflect the emphasis on spiritual growth & development through the practice, not just hands-on healing. Reiki is a mind body practice, treating the whole as originally intended by Mikao Usui, the founder of Reiki Ryoho. Hyakuten Inamoto has researched Reiki over many years & continues to do so, travelling the world and teaching. When in Kyoto, he holds regular Reiki Shares & also hosts tours on Mt. Kurama for Reiki practitioners & teachers, regardless of lineage.

The Iceman, is a Dutch extreme athlete noted for his ability to withstand extreme cold, which he attributes to his Wim Hof Method (WHM) breathing techniques. Hof says that the WHM can treat or help alleviate symptoms of illnesses such as multiple sclerosis, arthritis, diabetes, clinical depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and cancer. He pioneered the ideology that the temperature of any person can be regulated when exposed to the cold environment by a combination of deep reflection and intensive breathing exercises. The claims of science that exposure to intense cold could result in hypothermia and other related problems have been brought to question. Simple techniques and not genetic imbalance has been discovered by Wim to help a person survive the most desperate moments. It has been shown that with conscious breathing, one can control the body response of the innate and autoimmune systems.
